It’s not uncommon for menu items to be translated using Google Translate, and if you’ve ever used Google Translate, you know it doesn’t always give you the best or most reliable results.

If you’ve never used it and you want to see what we mean, check out this menu item circled in the photo. This seemed like a perfectly normal menu for a Thai restaurant until they stumbled upon this “immigration crab.” Honestly, we can’t even think of a dish that sounds similar to that, so we’ve no idea what this is meant to be.
