#24: Stroke of Genius or False Advertising?
Every movie wants to garner as many five-star reviews as possible. People still trust the five-star reviewing system, after all. When the 2015 movie Legend starring Tom Hardy came out, The Guardian gave it a scathing two-star review. The marketing team didn’t let that get them down, though. They used it to their advantage.

Someone noticed that they hid the two-star review between the heads of the main characters on the movie poster. If it weren’t for the red circle highlighting the stars, we’d think the actors’ heads were just blocking the rest of a five-star review. The Guardian wasn’t too pleased with this spin, calling it false advertising. What do you think?
