#7: An Infinite Loop
Academic textbooks are usually pretty cut and dry. Most people would describe them as “boring.” However, many people don’t realize that scientists tend to have a pretty sharp sense of humor. Whoever made this book was able to slip a nerdy joke into the index. Bless the editors for not catching this one.

Someone was reading through the index when they realized there was a subtle practical joke on page 252. The page references an “infinite loop,” therefore causing a literal infinite loop. If you want to learn more about infinite loops, you have to turn to page 252. But you’re already on page 252. The cycle continues. We see what they did here…
