#8: Amazing Customer Service
Amtrak doesn’t have the best reputation when it comes to customer service. We all kind of just use Amtrak because it’s there and we often have no other choice. This woman named Amanda had the unfortunate experience of being trapped in an Amtrak elevator at the airport. Naturally, she took to Twitter to complain about it.

While social media has changed the way many companies interact with customers, it doesn’t always work out. Amtrak decided to jump in and help out Amanda about seven months after the fact. Amanda made her post in February. Amtrak responded to her in September. We love that they had the nerve to ask if she was still in the elevator. We sure hope not!
