Vintage Tinder
Before the age of smartphones and social media, one of the most popular places to get to know people (and ask people out) were pubs. That sounds pretty wild these days – actually talking to a stranger at a pub face to face, without checking their background first, without any type of emojis or filters? That’s crazy talk!
Today, many people meet their soulmates (or their one-night-stands) on dating apps. So, in a way, going out to a pub to meet people is 3D tinder. You meet people in real life, real-life three-dimensional people rather than images on the screen. It can be a bit more nerve-wracking, perhaps, but it’s totally worth it.
