In 2006, Michigan resident 72-year-old David Lee Niles disappeared after leaving a bar. Having been suffering from cancer and depression, his family assumed he had taken his own life and even announced an obituary for him in 2011. However, 9 years later, his family finally received answers… Someone installing Christmas lights next door saw a car in a lake and alerted the police. The police confirmed that it was, in fact, Niles after finding his wallet. The crazy thing is that the car was visible on Google Maps this entire time…
