#18: The Starchild Skull
There are some people out there that are so obsessed with trying to connect our world with the extra-terrestrial world. And whilst there might be something worth connecting there, that doesn’t mean that we can force some sort of connection. In 1999, paranormalist and former Magnum PI writer Llyod Pye brought forward a misshapen skull that he claimed to have belonged to extraterrestrials.
Dubbed the “Starchild skull,” it was child-sized, with an enlarged cranium, flat back, and without sinuses. There were many differences, however, they weren’t conclusive enough to claim that this wasn’t a human skull. However, many scientists that examined the skull completely disagreed with his theories stating that it belonged to a child about 5 years old who suffered from congenital hydrocephalus, and DNA testing proved that.
