High school reunions may soon be a thing of the past, but until then, people are still showing up and dropping their jaws over the changes that happen when their previous students or fellow peers grow up and get out into the world. From glow-ups to disasters, these teachers and students have shared the transformations that were the most shocking to them. It’s nice to see that quite a few of these are bullies who have had a total 180, but sad to read about the ones whose lives in the real world hit them a bit hard. Still, it takes all kinds, right? Let’s see how those ten and twenty years changed people for better and worse!

#1: Get ‘Em Girl
I honestly find myself hoping that even though this girl is hot now, she’s still a “punk-ish nerd.” She just didn’t find her people in that school, but they exist! Even better, these people will like you for who you are, not your looks. Don’t get me wrong, self-empowerment and confidence are huge, but they shouldn’t come at the cost of who you are.

The truth is, though, that looks only last so long. Having confidence in who you are is the most crucial part. If you like yourself, other people will automatically like you. The best part is that it won’t matter anymore because you’ll be happy with who you are, and their opinion won’t haunt you.
