I imagine it’s pretty hard to be super cool in school and then take that vibe into the real world. You can’t really go around telling people, “Hey, I was the cool guy. I’d like to keep that status!” It probably results in a lot of people wishing they could have that time back.

Since “nerds” weren’t the “cool kids,” they don’t have that same struggle when they leave school. The whole world is their oyster to reinvent themselves if they want or be their best nerdy selves. Still, I don’t think we should slam the people who relive their glory days. It’s human nature.
