#22: Real-Time Display
Man, are toilets advanced these days. We all walk into a public restroom, not knowing which stalls are occupied, and we don’t always feel comfortable knocking on every single door. The worst thing is when you take a guess at a certain stall, only to find out there’s someone in there! Boy, is that an awkward situation.

This invention prevents those issues and makes going to the public bathroom a little less stressful. This map tells you which bathroom stalls are not in use. It’s also quite beneficial for cleaners, as they could see which stalls are used the most or even indicate which ones are being cleaned. Why are we not surprised this was spotted in Japan? We all have something to learn from them.
