#24: Separating Coats
If you’re a non-smoker, nothing spoils your clothing as much as the smell of smoke from a smoking environment. It’s well-known that smoke latches onto fibers, and when you check your coat at a restaurant, it’s not uncommon to receive it back, reeking of the smell of smoke. For a non-smoker, that smell may ruin that garment for you entirely, as smoke is not very easy to get out of fibers.
This hotel went the extra mile to ensure their guests were all happy with the services. They separated their coat rooms so that non-smokers would have their coats stored separately from others who do smoke. This way, they will receive their coats back in the same condition that they left them in. This really gives everyone peace of mind that their coats will not be ruined by checking them in.
