You don’t have to struggle through emotional turmoil alone. Before seeking help, better understand your emotional intelligence (or lack thereof).
The chart is like having an emotional coach at your fingertips. Emotional awareness is harnessing and applying emotions to how you think and solve problems. It includes regulating emotions and helping others do the same. Daniel Goleman wrote about emotional intelligence; he says people have two minds—one thinks and the other feels. Emotions are stirred more quickly than intelligence.
