Avatar, the fantasy juggernaut that took the cinematic world by storm, was a project that marinated in James Cameron’s creative cauldron since 1994. He had this visionary concept, but he was savvy enough to know that the technology of the time couldn’t conjure his dreams onto the screen as he envisioned.
