Shoplifting from a small business is worse than stealing from a large corporation because independent shop owners usually have less business. They can’t afford to lose goods the same way Target can! That’s why we love this sign. One small business owner was fed up with shoplifters and decided to get creative.
The business owner who made this sign leaned into their love of sarcasm. Anyone who shoplifts from their store will be the lucky winner of a free ride in a cop car. On top of that, they can get their name and picture in the local newspaper. Aw, what a great way to make your parents proud!
