You all know that one bad boy character who makes everyone love him no matter his gruffness and attitude. Well, maybe not “love him” as much as “fall in love” with him. In the popular drama series Lost, that bad boy is Sawyer. Apparently, Josh Holloway only got the part because he completely bombed his audition for the role.

While Josh was doing his audition, he wasn’t properly prepared and didn’t hold back every time he messed up a line or stumbled over his words. He would yell and scream and even kick a chair around the room! However, this temper didn’t discourage the writers. They actually loved his flare so much that they re-wrote the character and hired Josh to play the new and improved Sawyer.
