When it comes to learning about ancient civilizations, many things seem like mysteries. Researchers were always puzzled how the Indus civilization, which resided in what is now known as northwest India and Pakistan, had access to water for thousands of years. It turns out that they relied on monsoon flooding water to get trapped in clay so they could extract it for crops.
