Why do all these things seem to be happening to the friends of our writers and not to the people themselves? Is that the thing with unlikely events? That they’re actually so unlikely that they can’t even happen to our “point of view characters” and only ever to secondary protagonists?
We can only hope that this person got a really good view of the skewered bee. Honestly, it’s a pretty cool image. It makes you think of some zoomed-in slow-motion sequence in an action movie – the bee flying through the air, the dart shooting in and suddenly intercepting its trajectory, slamming it into the wall.
