#23: Eight Hours of Sleep is the Minimum
There’s an unspoken rule that says that humans require eight hours of sleep per night; otherwise, their brains don’t function properly. We’ve all heard it before. We’re not sure where that myth originated, but we’re pretty sure it’s a myth. Who’s to say how many hours of sleep a person needs?
This is the kind of thing that differs from one person to another. One person might only need five or six hours of sleep every night, while another might need nine or ten. They say that children require nine or ten hours of sleep, and who decided adults needed less than that? That hardly seems fair.
