Father and daughter in Vulcan
We’ve already seen two Star Wars inspired tattoos on the list, but we’re not ones to discriminate between fantasy franchises. This father and his daughter seem to be avid fans of the Star Trek franchise and its fantastical universe. If you’re a fellow fan of the science-fiction series, you probably recognized the meaning of this tattoo. If you’re not in the business of sci-fi, we’re here to fill in the blanks.
Vulcans are a fictional species on the Star Trek universe, who are largely characterized by their infinite search for reason and logic, rather than emotion (if you’re slightly familiar with the characters, they are the ones with pointy ears). They live on the planet Vulcan and speak a fictional language of their own. This father and his daughter got matching tattoos of the words for “father” and “daughter” in the fictional language, respectively.
