#40: “Creeper Crunch”
Special edition cereal has to be the weirdest niche market out there. Companies rework the same old cereal into different shapes, slap a popular mascot on the box, and charge parents extra. It’s a genius marketing plan. But we can all admit that it’s pretty weird, right? Take this “special edition” Minecraft cereal, for example.
Kellogg’s made a knock-off version of Lucky Charms and slapped the phrase “Creeper Crunch” on the box. Young Minecraft fans everywhere will throw a fit if their parents refuse to buy this sugary cereal during their next trip to the grocery store. What better way to get kids hooked on sugar than with a flashy box and marshmallows? That’s why we’re not surprised stuff like this exists.
