#12: A Clear Explanation
We’d like to let you in on a little secret: The customer is not always right. Trust us, no food service employee believes the whole “customer is always right” spiel. Some customers don’t deserve an explanation. The person who made this sign had obviously had enough of people’s silly questions.
“The patio is currently not open because it is closed” is one of the best explanations we’ve ever seen. Why isn’t the patio open? What a silly question. It’s closed because the restaurant wants it to be, okay? Now, stop with these endless questions and pay your bill, please. We don’t care that you wanted to dine al fresco.
