#13: April Fool’s
Is there anything more uncomfortable than when someone gets your name wrong in a public setting? There are several ways to go about dealing with something like this, but the best policy would be to tell the truth right off the bat; otherwise, you’re going to find yourself deep in a lie that you can’t contain.
The fact that this person worked in customer service and had been lying to a certain customer for a while about her name probably didn’t go down too well. Not only would this have been incredibly awkward when the customer found out her name wasn’t April, but she also would have been extremely confused about why she lied about it.
