Have you ever stared at something long enough that it starts to look different after a while? Our brains are very complex organs that go through a million different processes daily, so it makes sense that certain things happen in our daily lives that we don’t always understand.
Apparently, after 10 minutes of staring at yourself in the mirror, your brain starts to change things around on your face out of boredom. This process of distortion is a way for the brain to cope with boredom. This can explain why some people claim to have seen certain things in the mirror when staring at themselves in the past…
