#52: Light It Up!
Outdoor lights are one of the best parts of the holiday season. Everybody loves to take a drive to look at all the beautifully decorated homes around the neighborhood. But if you have a brick or stone home, hanging lights can be a massive headache. Short of drilling holes into your home, there really isn’t a great way to attach strands of Christmas lights to your house. Or is there?
Cue the handy dandy glue gun! This is the hardest working tool in most homes, but most people don’t realize it can be helpful in hanging Christmas Lights! Add a dab of hot glue to the back of each bulb and press it down to the brick for several seconds before moving on to the next bulb. No drill required!
