This elaborate dining table is upsetting on so many levels. This wannabe fancy restaurant used a live edge wooden tree stump as a giant dining table. They painted the entire tree stump white, which is even more upsetting. A tree had to sacrifice its life for this ugly table, and it can’t even exist in its original, natural brown color. 

The tree was able to get its own form of revenge. The trunk had a giant hole in the middle of it. Instead of filling it in, the design team behind this table decided to leave the giant hole unfilled. Now, whenever someone sits on that side of the DIY table, they don’t have a solid surface to place their food. As we said, this tree got its revenge.
