#48: Get Them Involved
If you think about it, it’s probably really frustrating for kids that they never get to eat what they want; they are at the mercy of their parents and just have to eat what they are given. So it’s a really nice idea actually to ask them their opinions when you’re planning menus.
Just make sure that you’re actually giving them something reasonably healthy. I think that most children if asked to choose a meal, would pick pizza or dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets. But who knows, maybe this could be a great way to get them involved with choosing different food groups to add to their diet?
