They say you should never assume, and this cake is a great example. Why would they assume anyone would want a cake with a picture of a hard drive on it? And if they did, why not double-check to make sure? It would’ve helped to add that they needed to take the picture off the thumb drive. Come on, people, who would want a picture of their thumb drive printed on a cake?

On the other hand, the cake shows off the thumb drive on a nice background and puts it on full display. Obviously, this isn’t what the customer asked for, but they might want to get in touch with the thumb drive company and talk about collaborating on an ad.
