Some alleged suspects aren’t the brightest people. If you’re in court for being verbally and physically abusive to an officer, your only viable course of action is to remain as polite as possible in the hopes that you can convince the jury the officer had it all wrong. This defendant missed that memo by a mile.
While the officer was testifying about the offensive statements the client had made, he began yelling, “You’re a liar! Screw you, you son of a….!” Regrettably, they lost the trial due to this outburst, and this person’s client didn’t receive the outcome they had hoped for.
