#49: We’re Open
It’s not uncommon to see neon signs outside restaurants, notifying drivers and passers-by of their existence. Dolores restaurant put up one of these big, hard-to-miss neon signs, but to their dismay, the lights went out on some of the letters. The improbable coincidence is that the sign still reads the word “restaurant.”
Luckily for them, although the light went out in some of the letters, people could still read their sign and it still made sense. If this isn’t a coincidence, I don’t know what is. Perhaps they wouldn’t even want to fix it, but leave it like this to provide people with a few laughs. The important thing is that people know that it’s a restaurant; the name doesn’t matter anyway.
