Day-to-day existence can already feel like a struggle with work, bills, and countless errands to run. Some, whose grit has failed them, decided to try to make things easier by utilizing a few hacks and tricks along the way that are morally questionable at best, and absolutely despicable at worst, even if it’s not actually illegal. It is sometimes borderline shocking to see the kinds of things that are being normalized as acceptable behavior. But read on, at the least you’ll learn a few tricks to look out for when you’re out in the wild.
#1: Hidden in Plain Sight
Never doubt the power of a generic uniform. We don’t condone nefarious activities. But there’s no question that you can get away with a lot if you have confidence and an official-looking outfit. For example, some people swear you can walk around with a toolbox and a mechanic’s jumpsuit if you want to steal a street sign (don’t do this).
If you want to really live life on the edge, you can try dressing like a technician, walking into an office, and lifting a work computer. The consequences of getting caught far outweigh the benefits, so we don’t actually recommend trying that. The moral of the story is that you should never underestimate how little people (including yourself) will question a uniform.
