We’re certain that you have some funny dog stories to share with us! Pets are often caught doing the most hilarious things. Rarely ever do we capture them on video or photo, but it’s fun to keep telling the tale. Today we’re featuring some of the funniest dog stories we’ve read yet to help you get a little laugh.
We just found a story about some basset hound who got out of the house and proceed to run across the street.
There was a neighborhood girl waiting for the bus with her backpack on the ground. The dog went right over and peed on that little girl’s backpack while she was waiting for the bus!!!
One couple had been trying forever to train their dog to not make such a mess of the house while they’re gone. The biggest habit this dog had was that he’d pull all of the toilet paper off the toilet paper roll. What’s funny about this is that the couple didn’t think they were getting through to their dog until one day they came home from work to find that toilet paper had been put back on the roll sloppily.
This was rather bizarre to see since no other human was in the house. Apparently, they trained their dog so well that he knew how to clean up after himself before they got home! We don’t have a clue how that doggy learned to put the toilet paper back on the roll, perhaps someone out there has some idea?!
This one dog owner had a pet dog that always licked the ice that built up in the freezer, and of course, that led to an occasional dog tongue stuck to the ice. Now that’s not even the funny dog story, the funny thing is that they took this same dog to the lake for the first time. Once they let the dog out, the dog ran into the water all excited, perhaps in memory of the beloved ice he loved licking?!
Anyway, the dog sunk to the bottom and proceeded to somehow just walk along the bottom of the lake. The owners have no idea how this dog didn’t get hurt or drown, but their father went and got the dog off the bottom of the lake, and all was fine.
This one dog is on a schedule and wants to make sure that their owner knows what time it is! The owner always took his dog to get the kids from school but on one particular day, the kids had an afterschool program so the owner didn’t have to leave until later.
The dog proceeded to whine and scratch at the door trying to tell the owner that he was late getting his kids and to let’s go!
These funny dog stories are not as funny as some that we’re sure you could share with us, but we hope you found some humor in them. Pets really do understand so much more of the world around them than we give them credit for.
