#60: Hike Every Mountain
The Grand Canyon is one of the most stunning natural sights to behold in the United States, much less the world. However, many people are surprised to learn that less than two dozen people have actually hiked the entire length of this natural wonder. There’s a good reason for that slim statistic. Hiking the Grand Canyon from rim to rim is no easy task.
There is no clear hiking path, and it’s impossible to follow the river in some areas. The people who have completed the entire Grand Canyon have often done it in segments. One person who hiked the Canyon without stopping took a whopping 65 consecutive days. The hike is so challenging that more people have stood on the Moon than have walked the entirety of the Grand Canyon.
