#5: Close Enough
Here’s a story that makes me smile and reminds me that the height of good manners and compassion is not making other people unhappy or uncomfortable. Some people might get irritated if a relative got the date of their birthday wrong every single year; they might feel the need to make sure that relative knows that they made a mistake.

But not in this case! This girl clearly focused on the fact that her grandmother meant well and that it was an honest mistake, given the confusion with her sister’s birthday. I bet both she and her grandmother are a lot happier than they would be if she insisted on setting Grandma straight.
