OK, I’m a little confused about this next one: do dogs have good hearing? I mean, obviously, it doesn’t matter in this case because even if they did, it’s not like they speak English, but still, could they hear a whisper in a crowded place? I don’t know enough about dogs to be certain, to be honest.

But if they could hear a whisper in a crowded place, and if they did speak English, I have no doubt they would be delighted to know that this person thinks that they are good dogs, and they would be equally delighted to know that she loves dogs enough to just assume that all of them are good and tell them as much before she’s even met them.
