This next writer is a lot nicer than I am. I will happily let small children win at games; they are small children, and I am an adult, and surely their happiness matters more than the pride I would get from destroying a 7-year-old at Boggle. But for a grown adult, I would tell them to suck it up; they need to learn that sometimes life doesn’t go the way they want to, and they’re certainly old enough to cope.

So maybe that’s why this person is happily married and I’m very single. I guess it could be part of the reason. She’s willing to let her husband beat her at games, just to keep him happy. That’s really sweet. Although I stand by what I said about adults being old enough to cope with losing.
