Living in a nursing home has got to be a little difficult. You’re no longer in your own house, you’re limited in the places that you can go and the things that you can do, and you have to follow someone else’s schedule. I think any little thing that someone does to make such people happy is a very worthwhile thing to do.

That being said, I feel like this person should insist that the nursing home start paying for the bird seed. Those people pay a ton of money to live there; surely the nursing home could fork out for a little bit of bird seed to make them happy. The fact that this person pays for it on their own makes them a saint, I think.
