#21: Tracy Nelson as Deena Marx
Deena Marx was Mallory’s partner in fabulousness—the friend who turned every hallway walk into a runway strut. She and Mallory spoke their own glittery language, full of fashion tips, whispered gossip, and bursts of laughter that seemed to echo down the Keaton hallway.
Deena didn’t need a big storyline to make an impact. She gave Mallory a world beyond her family—a teenage ecosystem of friends, crushes, and Friday night plans. Deena was bubbly, loyal, and just a bit dramatic, which made her the perfect counterbalance to Mallory’s dreamy, sometimes scatterbrained charm. They were teenage chaos wrapped in shoulder pads.
