“What’s The Difference Between” Jokes That Made Us Laugh a Little Too Hard

Do you ever think about how weird a show The Flintstones was? Who was that show for? It was animated, and these days, if you ever see it, it’s only on channels that are aimed at children. But if you think about the actual content of the show—a schlubby guy with a pretty wife and a menial labor job—you realize that it’s basically a sitcom for adults, just with dinosaur jokes.

The weirdness of the show aside, the triumphant cry of Fred Flintstone—“Yabba dabba doo!”—has become entrenched in pop culture. Well, at least for now, it still is. Maybe in 30 years, no one will remember it. But right now, this is a great silly pun, and I am laughing embarrassingly hard.
