#43: He’s Only Acting
I feel like there’s a comma missing here. It should say, “a kleptomaniac takes things, literally,” because they do literally take things; they steal things. They have a strong, irresistible urge to steal. An actor, on the other hand, doesn’t take things literally because that’s his job. His job is to not take things literally.

He’s acting, so in a sense, his job is all fake. Although, I’m not completely sure if this is supposed to be some kind of a dish on actors not taking their job seriously. Even if their job is to not take things literally, they are still doing a great job. So, they are taking their job seriously.
