“What’s The Difference Between” Jokes That Made Us Laugh a Little Too Hard

Sometimes a joke can be a joke and a history lesson! As a total nerd who loves reading about history, this next joke cracked me up a lot. If you live in a place where everyone gets to vote and that vote is meaningful, you might not realize that you are very lucky and, taken in the context of all of human history, definitely in the minority.

There have been many places and periods of history when it was believed that only the upper classes should have any say in anything – because I guess the total accident of having been born into a wealthy family makes smarter and a better ruler? Anyway, I’m glad I live in a place and time where my vote counts instead of my having to rely on my count to vote!
