#25: Full Circle
People take graphic designers for granted. Designing an innovative, attractive logo that is easy to read is way harder than people think. People only realize how important a solid graphic designer is when someone does it themselves or tries to get a deal on a “cheap” designer. This might be what happened with this shop sign.
It says “Second Generation,” but it’s incredibly hard to read. Half of the letters are upside down! Who thought this was a good idea? It sounds cool in theory, but it’s completely impractical. Is the shop expecting people to turn their heads upside down to read the sign? Maybe this design was intentional, but we have to admit that it’s mildly infuriating.
