Oh, really? Is that a stop sign? I’ve never seen one of those before! This set of road signs makes you wonder just how people manage to drive by stop signs without heeding the road rules. Clearly, the governing entity behind this sign setup wanted things to be as clear as humanly possible.

As silly as this sign seems, it has probably saved many lives! We can assume that if it was really necessary to follow up on the octagonal stop sign with a huge red rectangle sign, there would have been some issues with people who weren’t willing to hit the brakes in the past.
