#30: All That Extra Work For Nothing
There’s no real downside to using a bottle opener to unscrew a twist cap, except for the fact that it probably won’t work and that you’ve gone through a whole lot of extra work for nothing. At least you’ll probably have a good photo and a story to take away.
I suppose there might be the added benefit of providing a little breathing hole to aerate the wine once it’s opened. Then again, if you want to reuse the bottle, you might be in for some unwanted spills. One way or another, it’s certainly easier than trying to twist open a cork.
