#7: The Path of Least Resistance
Sometimes, the unlikely events that hit us aren’t as much exhilarating as they are downright dangerous. While a lot of us can only hope to win on a scratch card or land a dice on its edge, others are spending their time narrowly avoiding or else desperately trying to evade death.

I’m not exactly a physics expert, but I remember learning that lightning strikes the path of least resistance – meaning that a car is a much more logical target than whatever is behind the car. Oh, but the rubber tires don’t conduct. Wow, these folks must have been pretty grateful for the rubber tires.
