#9: Sunny-Side Up
As you may or may not have realized, this mural at a local restaurant is meant to represent the sun. The sun is the creator of life, but when I look at this painting of the sun, I see life about to be created, if you know what I mean. And I’m sure you do because this mural DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE SUN.
I also can’t help but think about the painter and the restaurant owners who commissioned this mural. It’s probably not what they had in mind when they wanted a sun painting on the wall, and now they’re stuck with this thing. Oh well. At least it’s better than that hair painting we saw earlier. Life is all about perspective.
