35 Times Restaurants Tried to Be Creative and Made Their Customers Raise an Eyebrow

I don’t need Sherlock Holmes-level deduction to know what happened here. The restaurant owner commissioned a check holder and instructed them to put the “Restaurant Logo Here.” But the person responsible for making this chuck holder must be Amelia Bedelia because they took this at face value.

I guess the owners laughed about it and approached it with a “When life gives you lemons” attitude. Good on them because I would have demanded they fix it. But it’s a funny conversation when the waiter hands you a check, and it’s a fun little way to help the bitter pill go down when you open the book and realize that food prices are out of control.
