#31: That’s Not a Military Rank
Being a military spouse is no easy feat. I entirely agree that military spouses should be treated with the utmost respect, but they can’t turn around and try to use it as a job description on a resume. It has zero status as a rank within service. I’m sure she has other redeeming qualities, right?
I’m going to step back and give her a pass. Being a wife and mom is hard work, and without a work history, it can feel like scrambling when you’re trying to find a job. That being said, I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to claim you’ve served in the military when you haven’t. That’s considered fraud, right? In the words of this Twitter user, get the fudge outta here.
