I get that parking spots can be hard to find, and two next to each other seems like something that should be defended with your life, but it’s a jerk move to hold two spots for people. Just let it be first come, first serve like it’s supposed to be. There’s no need to stand there and keep other people from parking.

What’s with the turned backs, though? Why not stand forward? You’re both looking over your shoulders, so it’s not as if you feel totally shameless. This is a super defensive posture. You know exactly what you’re doing and that it isn’t right. Next time, get your family or friends to caravan with you, and then no one has to wait.
