#47: Parenting Prodigy
As parents, we need every hack available. A contained kid happy with a set of crayons and a cardboard box box isn’t lazy; it’s effective. This is a no-mess activity he can have fun with for hours or even days! No coloring on the walls, the tables, or the floor, either. If you have a better idea, feel free to share it.
Cardboard boxes are prime activity fodder. You probably played with many of them yourself. I know I did. How else would I have made a rocket ship in my living room? This parent is not only saving themselves a ton of hassle, but they’re also fostering creativity in a new generation. At least he isn’t sitting in front of the TV or another screen.
