#21: Stay Hydrated
With all the trendy reusable water bottles out there, it’s safe to assume that everyone is staying hydrated and drinking plenty of water. Right? Wrong. It turns out that the hydration advice we constantly hear about drinking eight glasses of water a day might be a bit misleading. Eight glasses of water might be the right amount for some people, but it’s not a one-size-fits-all situation.

For some people, the equivalent of eight glasses of water is more than enough to keep them hydrated. Other people need to drink way less or way more. For whatever reason, the “eight glasses” rule is perceived as a hard and fast fact. The real truth is that everybody is different. The real advice is to drink water when you feel thirsty and pay attention to your body.
